Damodar Puja, The festival of offering ghee lamps to Lord Krishna, lasts the entire month of Damodara. Damodar month lasts from Oct 11 to Nov 11 this year of 2011. Devotees perform various austerities during this month to increase their devotional services to Lord Krishna.
