jagannāthaḥ svāmī nayana-patha-gāmī bhavatu me

 

Sometimes in great happiness Lord Jagannatha makes a loud concert with His flute in the groves on the banks of the Yamuna. He is like a bumblebee tasting the beautiful lotus like faces of the cowherd damsels of Vraja, and great personalities such as Laksmi, Siva, Brahma, Indra, and Ganesa worship His lotus feet. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.

 

The most glorious ceremony of Sri Snana Yatra was celebrated by ISKCON CNJ on June 22, 2008. Program began with an abhishek ceremony,  bathing Sri Sri Jagannath Baladev and Subhadra devi with milk, yogurt, fruit juices, honey, ghee, and water. Special guest, HG Devakinandan prabhu, visiting from ISKCON Juhu, enlightened us on Jagannath-Lila. Program reached its peak with a maha arati and a grand prasadam feast.
