"O Keshava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of
half-man, half-lion! All glories to You! Just as one can easily crush a wasp
between one's fingernails, so in the same way the body of the wasp like demon
Hiranyakashipu has been ripped apart by the wonderful pointed nails on Your
beautiful lotus hands."

ISKCON of Central New Jersey celebrated the auspicious occasion of Lord Nrsimhadeva’s appearance with much enthusiasm. The program consisted of a special abhishek to Nrsimhadev shila and the aarati ceremony accompanied by soft kirtan. A special discourse on Sri Prahlad Maharaj’s teaching from Srimad Bhagavatam was rendered. The highlight of the evening was a special dramatic performance—devotees dressed as Lord Nrsimhadev and Prahlad Maharaj acted out the pastime. As always, the celebration ended with sumptuous Prasadam feast.
