"Obeisances unto Him, Sri Caitanya-chandra, the giver of the mellow of the highest love of Godhead, who is the embodiment of blissful pastimes, and who is so beautiful, having a dazzling luster, like gold."

On Sunday, 15 March 2009, devotees of ISKCON CNJ celebrated the auspicious occasion of Gaura PurnimaThe entire temple room vibrated with melodious kirtans throughout the evening. The program began with the abhishek ceremony, bathing the deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai with milk, honey, ghee, juice, nectar and water. This was followed by a wonderful presentation by the kids of ICNJ's Krsna School. HG Madhupati prabhu then rendered a lecture glorifying Lord Caitanya. The highlight of the evening was the drama entitled "Lord Caitanya Takes Sannyasa". Arati followed, and the program ended with a sumptuous prasadam feast.

Please join us for more such wonderful programs every Sunday.
