Quotes From Vedic Scriptures

By building a temple for the Lord one is freed from all sins. He who has built a temple for Vishnu reaps the great fruit which one gains by celebrating sacrifices every day. By building a temple for the Lord, such a devotee takes his or her family, a hundred generations past and a hundred to come, to the region of Acyuta.

Agni Purana

All Glories to the Sri Natha Ji! My Lord! Oh Lord of the Universe! O Lord Jagannatha! O Lord Hari! O Natha Hari! O Jagannatha Hari! O lover of the queen of gopis, Srimati Radharani, who is always present whenever You are.

Gita Govinda

Just by starting the construction of a temple for Lord Sri Krishna, sins committed in seven births will be wiped out and one will deliver his forefathers who are suffering in hellish planets.

Skanda Purana

O Supreme Godhead, I offer my obeisances unto You. O Damodara! O Ananta! O Vishnu! O master! O my Lord, be pleased upon me. By showering Your glance of mercy upon me, deliver this poor ignorant fool who is immersed in an ocean of worldly sorrows, and become visible to my eyes.

Whoever constructs or helps to construct a Vishnu temple will protect eight generations of fathers, grandfathers and forefathers from falling into Hell.

Vamana Purana

Krsna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.

Sri Brahma Samhita

The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.
